This Privacy Policy describes how GeoBuzz ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our iOS mobile application (the "App").

1.1 Location Data

GeoBuzz is a location-based alarm application. To function as intended, the App requires access to your device's location.

- When In Use: We collect your location when the app is open to allow you to set alarms and view your position on the map.

- Always: If you enable "Always" location permissions, GeoBuzz monitors your location in the background. This is strictly necessary to trigger alarms when you reach a specific destination, even if the App is closed or your device is locked.

1.2 Usage Data

We do not collect personal usage data, analytics, or crash reports.

                                                  2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Specific Purpose

All location data is processed locally on your device. We use your location solely to:

- Determine your distance from a set alarm target.

- Trigger audio and notification alerts when you enter a specified radius.

- Display your current position on the map interface.

2.2 Data Storage

- Local Storage: Your alarm settings (names, target locations, radius) are stored locally on your device using UserDefaults.

- No Information Upload: We do not upload your location history, alarm data, or any other personal information to any external server.

                                                          3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Apple MapKit

We use Apple's MapKit framework to provide map displays and address search functionality.

- Your search queries and map interactions are handled directly by Apple's services.

                                                     4. Data Retention and Deletion

4.1 Retention

Your alarm data remains on your device until you delete specific alarms or uninstall the App.

4.2 Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by:

- Deleting individual alarms within the App.

- Deleting the GeoBuzz App from your device, which removes all locally stored data.

                                                                        5. Security

We prioritize the security of your data by processing everything locally. Since no data is transmitted to our servers, your location history remains entirely under your control on your physical device.

                                                               6. Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data, this standard is naturally maintained.

                                                       7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
